I have enclosed a short video of my juniper. My question is what am I looking for as in form? How do I know which branch to wire? Which shape it should grow? I want it natural looking and not like a topiary. Do I trim the top to train her to have a flat top? Will the neddles brown at the cutting? Or should I just leave her? She came from Walmart as a present in May, so it was a bit dry. But she pulled back from the brink of death, new growth is appearing and new shoots are there. Thank you
Once again I was fooled into thinking that I would see pictures of some cool tree or at least something to comment on, nd all I got was a nice chuckle.

It wasn't on the page, and I didn't check it, but under the 'more information' you can see this plant is artificial.
If I'm right, a bonsai is supposed to be a living tree
"The Senshi Bonsai is a 4 foot tall (minimum) preserved Juniper and Grape Wood Bonsai that comes in a wooden artisan basket- The large preserved juniper greenmound is place on dried grapewood to create the look- Each tree is unique- Each plant is carefully preserved to maintain its natural shape and color and then hard trimmed and arranged by skilled artisans- All Forever Green Art plants require no ''sun, soil or water'' and are maintenance free- These products are a truly unique and beautiful way to accent your home or business"
One of the book suggestions at the bottom of the page is: how to care for INDOOR bonsai. for the green mound juniper. No wonder people who buy these things end up killing them... or probably more acurately are buying near dead plants.
To be fair, the how to care for video isn't that bad...
