TOPIC: Whimsical Penjing

Re: Whimsical Penjing 6 years 5 months ago #4167

I'm not sure on the type of grass yet. As long as it has small stalks I'll take it.I'm ditching the animal under the tree. I think the "tree" on one side and tall grass on the other with a gravel path winding through is enough. We'll see. I'm no longer putting it in that awful colored dish. I have a white rectangular dish that I found at good will. I'll drill holes in it with my masonry bit and *poof* inexpensive penjing dish.I like it much better. If any one is interested, I'll post a picture.

I'm glad someone else is going to try this. Hannah started this thread and got me interested, but she hasn't been around in months.

Im not sure if that would have the same effect. I think i might just go looking in the roof gutters for some moss. But that's only when i have a tree to work with, all my trees are still very much in training. I wonder whats happened to hannah
