yesterday i went to my local nursery for a visit where i bought a new tree. a 5 year old Serissa Foetida :cheer:
but the highlight were these 2 trees they had there.

1- A small apple tree
2- An amazingly old Olive tree (the leaves are from a small branch growing out of the large trunk)

hehe. thanks everyone for the replies.

@Pinkham- if i remember correctly the price for the apple tree was 30 euros.

@leatherback- Nope :( . altho i wanted to i didn't buy any of them. i had just ordered and paid for 3 carnivorous plants, and my bank account was already off its track :P so all i could do is get a small 5 year old serissa foetida.

Btw the "small olive tree" is the big olive tree trunk. Its all the same tree. Most of the trunk was pretty much dead but a little branch is growing out of it and some little roots growing from the other side of the trunk. really amazing thing.

haha! I am in Porto and so is the olive tree.
But i'll be off to college next week and that's not in Porto anymore.
I think the price was 50 euros maybe 60.

The size is tricky to be honest. the Pot is maybe 25/30 cm wide. and the old trunk about 15 cms tall maybe more. This is just a wild guess, i can't be sure about it.

Hm.. 50 euro's is a little too much for online purchasing :d Told my colleague not to worry, which is what I am telling you too. Don't worry...
