Won't Costa Farms give you another tree in exchange for this one?
Sincerely, it looks like it is dying.

I think one of you also mentioned something about leaving it alone to recover on its own (hopefully!), and just making sure it doesn't dry out.

You answered your own question.

And get another low quality young plant that really hasn't got much to do with bonsai, and see that die as well? Nah.

My thanks to Auk, Leatherback, Felidae and Clicio.

What else can I say? I don't want to give up on the poor thing. I am going to try and nurse it back to health. If it works out, I'll come back and post an update.

Clicio, I might just try taking up your suggestion and write to Costa Farms...not for a replacement...but to get my money back.

Thanks guys.

It's great you are using this forum for advice but I'd suggest to you to simply study and read books about growing and caring for bonsai rather than getting info from enthusiasts on the internet. Regardless of where you purchased your plant, with proper care it will thrive.

... you do realise your first post is an answer to a dead two year old topic, from a guy we didn't see again here and whose plant died 99,9% already long time ago?
