I purchased these trees in the current pots. As I am reading and learning about bonsai, I have noted pots should have holes.
1). Should I repot
2) should the new pots be same size or bigger - read both are correct
3) what type of soil should I use

They must have holes. Keep the new ones the same size and repot at the right time.
