Hello,
i have a few shohin elms imported from Germany. They are 10 years old each and i keep them indoors. When i got them a month ago they arrived in a muddy soil. There was sign of overwatering since algae and moss was everywhere on the trees. I soon repotted it in akadama, pumice and kirya in 2-5mm. I did not wash the mediums since i tought the dust was sifted when i bought the premix. Now the soil is verry muddy and mold is appering on the surface, i consider if i need top repott them again in to a more sifted and clean mix with akadama, pumice and lava.
I will upload pictures, do you guys think i should repott?
