Anyone have experience in using coffee grounds?Has anyone used coffee grounds to keep pests away from their trees?

I have used coffe grounds in all my garden beds and in the greenhous. I would not consider putting coffe grounds in a bonsai pot. Fine organic materials tends to clog pots and destroys drainage.

I agree with Topfrog.
Using coffee grounds on my bonsai clogged the surface in no time at all, making it impossible to water properly.
Not worth the effort.
