Hi all.
I've had my ficus bonsai for about 3 years.
I want to repot it into a ceramic bonsai pot as per attached images(have they displayed at all?)
Current pot dimensions are 16.5cm per 16.5cm
The new pot dimensions 15cm per 10cm.
Is it possible?
And another question. Apparently my ficus is growing high instead of being wide because the pot is too high.
Please advise and correct me if I am wrong.

Hi all.
Apparently my ficus is growing high instead of being wide because the pot is too high.
Gonne use this tactic, gonne take a super shallow wide pot, so i get super wide and short bonsai.
Just joking. If you want a wider bonsai, just wire the branches inplace. It has nothing to do with the pot being to high.
Thanks. I can't see the images I pasted on the mobile version of the website. . Can you? What to do to see them? I can see them on the desktop version only.
What about the hole (drain) at the bottom of the pot. Mine doesn't have one. Is it required? Apparently it is. Please advise
Three years in an undrained pot is really impressing. Please share a picture of the tree.
My comment was on correct bonsai watering, which is "watering until it drains out the drainage holes". And that is not possible without drainage holes:)

I inserted the image in my first post. Are they visible?
