Hello

Can someone advise if I should repot this fukien now please.

It wasnt exactly that healthy at the start of spring after a neighbour not watering.

The Roots are now as per photo, and photo of tree just now.

Got rid of almost all white fly and black spot seems to be alnost clear.

Is this a good time was about to order a larger pot?

How much larger should I go?

Many Thanks

If you want to repot into a bigger pot, just go ahead. In bonsai we call it uppotting and can be done any time of the year. How big is up to you. The bigger the better for plant growth and health. However there may be a size that is less aestetic or less practic to you? Go for the biggest pot you like.

Thank you

I have ordered a larger rectangular pot (20x17x6cm). as well as some Hard Akadama and Kurodama

I have a bag of focus bonsai repotting soil mix (peat, grit, sand and bark)

Would I be best to mix the 3 together, what would be best for the Fukien?

I assume I should carefully remove some of the old soil but leave some.

Your advice appreciated.

Many Thanks
