A friend was redoing his landscaping and was gonna throw this tree out. I know it's not the best time to lift a tree, but it was going to the trash if not. It's a Juniper that I have not identified it yet. If it survives a couple growing periods it has some potential for styling. What you guys think?

That tree has a nice fat trunk on it! The lower branching doesn't look promising but if you can get that young growth to push out and chop it back you can have a really awesome tree in a few years. Nice find!

nice stuff to work with there...this is not a juniper tho. it is either an arborvitae or a cedar. the branches can be wired into drastic bends due to the fiberous wood structure

I did correctly identify this tree as arborvitae tree. It has been two weeks since it was taken and for now it is doing well. Thanks for the help.
