Anything that has an open structure and does not decay would work. I use a substrate consusting of baked clay, lava type material and ground bark at a size of 2 to 6mm

Hi thanks I got some hydrolecafor which is done by lorbex and some of their compost aswell what soil do you recommend that I get aswell
