Following this link (that uses cat litter as bonsai soil,) bonsai4me.com/Basics/Basicscatlitter.htm
I also have found an Argentinian lava soil from Patagonia that is sold in Brazil as cat litter. People say wonders about it... Testing it on some cuttings: www.solminerales.com.ar/gatos_sanitario_standard_absorsol.php
This link above is in Spanish, and the first one in Portuguese.
So, how many people here use cat litter as bonsai soil? I am curious!
Here in America, its tough to find cat litter without perfumes and chemicals. However, turface, which is a hard fired clay that doesn't break down, is easy to get and similar to cat litter.
