		Hello guys..
I have a few 2 meter tall taxus baccata in my garden, which i want to dig up and make them into bonsai..
My question is, when the best time is to dig it up, and/or do a massive trunkchop?
My final height of the tree will be around 25cm.. When i do the trunkchop, should i cut it durectly down to the height, or shoukd i do it in phases over a few years?

Does it have green all the way to the ground?
Then chop and dig at the same time, in spring when the buds are swelling. Leave a decent amount of green, but make the main cuts (And leave some lower branches)
