OK, I went back to the identification page, and it appears to look more like a common Juniper.

Junipers are just as hardy as spruce.

Thankz TropFrog, I already set BB free to rollick in the snow. Now all I have to worry about is some idiot treenaping her for ransom, eh? # Apartment life has its drawbacks. Thankz again TIA.

Here are two pictures of what I identified as a common spruce. # She is outside frolicking in the snow at 33 degree Tia

The very best thing you can do is find a local bonsai club and go to some meetings. Listen to what they talk about and ask if anyone has a spruce like yours. They know the climate there far better than anyone here does.

Pay particular attention to the ones with the oldest trees.

Thanks, I already have a request in to join the one here, but have yet to hear a response. For now, BB is outside under an overhang as so to be out of the precipitation and snow, facing south, with a wind block. It's all I can do, living in an apartment. I hope it's enough for what is coming in Feb. # Tia
