Any recommendations for sites that sell full spectrum grow lights. My searches have not been yielded much to choose from.
Need a little more light for our ficus plants as our daylight hours are now getting shorter and days are more cloudy. I think I’ll also benefit from a little more light in the coming months here in Minnesota.

I use a lot of grow lights for other plants, not bonsai. But photosynthesis is always the same.
Read up on Lux, lumens, PUR, PAR and the difference between them. Recomended PAR for ficus is 80-160 PPFD for 10-12 hours per day.
Now, go search for suitable lights in stores specialiced in equipment for growing herbs not legal in every country. They have by far the most extensive knowledge and the best equipment at the best price. Look for full spectrum white light with good PPFD reading at the distance you plan to put the trees.
My local herb equipment dealer have PAR meters awailable to test the units in the store.

Thanks for the advice. Would you mind sharing the name of your dealer for light meters and herbs.
any on line vendors you’ve found that sell grow lights? Where do you buy your lights.

I buy my equipment from hydrogarden:

Not sure if it helps you. This is an international forum and all hints suggests that you are in USA. Right?
