I've had to move a couple of my plants (mainly the small ones in small pots) to 'sick bay' - an area that is close to the hedge and gets more shade.
The azaleas are now in trays with water.
My mallsai-elm was a problem - the soil dried out easily, would shrink, and water would run off it through the sides of the block of soil. I've had to dunk it a couple of times too. I repotted it, it's no longer a problem, but I learned why it is hard to keep these things alive for people buying one of these for the first time.
The rest is doing fine. This mainly concerns the bigger ones in big pots (though there are a few smaller ones too that still are doing just fine). I water once a day, loads of water.
Never expected to say this as a Dutch guy, but I'm longing for a period of rain. Normally in our summers we get plenty of it.
