TOPIC: Fertilizing Questions

Fertilizing Questions 1 week 5 days ago #52135

Hello!
I have 6 different trees, all indoors and subtropicals. I have them placed in an indoor greenhouse where they get plenty of sun.
At the moment i have set up a weekly feeding programs for all my trees, wich look like this.
Day 1: The trees get Superthrive and BioBizz root juice mixed in water and watered with this mix.
Day 2: The trees get Biobizz activera and alg-a-mix mixed in water and watered with this.
Day 3:Trees get superthrive and bioheaven mixed and watered with this.
Day 4: This day there is no fertilizer or additives, just watered if needed.
Day 5: This day is the same as day 1, superthrive and root juice.
Day 6: This day there is regular fertilizer day, NPK fertilizers. FLORA-gro and a balanzed NPK 6:6:6 fertilizer is mixed and watered.
Day 7: This day they get a mix of superthrive, Activera, biocoat and a revive mix from advanced nutritions.

and repeat every week. Is this too much, or is additives like alg miks, activera and superthrive can be used like this? I have done this a week now and trees seem happy? or is it too much? I also have biogold slow reeleas fertilizer in all trees pot.

I think it's too much.
And... There is always the gossip about SuperThrive being a hoax, a myth.
I use BioGold pellets from Spring to the end of Autumn, and liquid (Miracle-Gro) every 10 days through the growing season.

Is it too much like it can kill or harm the trees, or too mich that it wont be taking up?

How often do you think i should fertilize with additives?

What substrate are they in?
Unless you have a very open mix, use fertilizer as indicated on the package. Plants use very little fertilizer.

The advice I got from bill Valvanis was half strength once a week or so. He said it all washes out after watering for three or four days, and the tree can't take up even half strength ferilizer before it washes out.

His trees are all healthy, mine seem to be doing well, so it must work.
