Hi,
I have what I think is a juniper bonsai. Everything was going great until I had a case of spider mites. I successfully treated it (no more tiny webs appearing), but since then the tree has been looking a little off. I'll include some photos but if we think of the needles as a hand, on part of the tree, they are closed like a fist. I'm also starting to notice some browning on the tips that I've been pruning off. Maybe this is normal for springtime, or is this a response to having the mites? Something else?

I water regularly when the soil feels dry. I put my finger in the soil a few inches down. When it feels dry I water it by putting it in a shallow dish, and filling it up with water. I then water the roots from above to fill the pot and let it soak. I also spray the canopy and the moss twice a day or more to keep the moss green otherwise it dries out.

What do you think?

Thanks!

Ren
