In summer I regularly water the foliage of junipers. It reduces spider mites, washes dust off and juniper can take up lots of water through the foliage.

In general, I use a shower attachment to a hose or watering can, and generously water the tree, foliage and area around it. The hotter and drier summer is, the more I ensure availability of water for the trees.

I would recommend taking advice from people that actually show they know what they are doing.

I have had junipers for 5 years now, in ground and in pots and have never misted the foliage on any of them.

So a chance to learn something new.
And maybe one day you will show trees too, instead of just pretending you grow bonsai

Ohh. Old lb is back. The cockfighting one. Good on you to last so long without any personal attacks, well done my friend.

We have been through this discussion before. I share my trees at other places, with people that know the concept of respect. If you want me to share my trees here, this attitude will not succeed.

Take care.

interesting observation. Personal attack?

I just comment upon the fact that you are on a forum, seem to respond to pretty much all posts with sometimes accurate responses. Yet seem to never want to share your own work.

I get very concerned when people advice others without having anything to show for themselves.

You could share them with me. Do you mind if leatherback peeks at them?

This thread is about watering a juniper. That tree has not been shown and we dont know location of it. Anyway we are focusing on my trees and salt lake city. Why dont focus on topic?

I have made several internet searches on how often to water bosais. But I can't seem to find a specific answer in indoor bosais. Any advice?

Water before the soil dries out completely. You aim for a relatively even moist soil that never dries out completely, but does not stay soaking wet either.
