Do you have to keep a repotted conifer in the shade for some time? 2 years 9 months ago #69429

I live in Southern California (zone 10) and it's already very warm here. I recently repotted a hinoki cypress without trimming it's roots. Only some foliage pruning and wiring. Would I need to keep it in the shade so it can adjust to its new environment?
