I got this bonsai in September and it's been losing leaves. I have a red and blue grow light. I water it when it seems like its getting dry. I gave it fertilizer. What should I do?

Trying to keep plants inside when they do not belong there will see their demise

It specifically says it can kept indoors. I live in a place where it gets below -1. And they like the heat. Which I have it warm.

It might say all that. Yet it is not true.

One degree frost is absolutely no problem for lavender. The ones in the garden freeze up every year. Protected from wind and sun, they should be fine. Problem is, you now have it indoors so it has absolutely no frost protection. I would recommend putting it in a bright and cold room, as cold yet frost free as you can find.

On the other hand the question is not about lavendel (lavendula). Which by the way is a genus with a few species that is not frost hardy.

The question is about lavender star tree (grevia occidentalis) which is not frost hardy.

The so called indoor trees is by far the hardest species to grow and not at all for beginners. In winter they suffer in living room conditions and outside they die. What you need is a cold, somewhat humid place with a lot of sun. Mist people dont have that.

What it requires is a greenhouse not house.

Good catch.
One more point for people not using common names, but scientific names to avoid confusion.
