Hmm, your wife might have a point, but don't these insects take off when a bird approaches? I know constructiontime is over, but perhaps a bird wished to have your container in his nest.

I find biord go adfter the larvea of flies that grow in the fertilezer. My main staging area is full of substrate. On the gound!

I placed them the day before. There were no larvae in it...

I heard mudmen are quite common in the swampy area called 'the Netherlands', so perhaps they came with a large group ;)
Heard they aren't very bright either, so possibilities are they confused your cakes with pie :silly:
