Hi, I have Japanese Red Maple seeds and they have been soaking in water for 20h now. i believe some of them are already germinating. Does that mean I dont have to stratify anymore?

I would be very surprised if you have germinating seeds after 20h. Do you have a picture?

Mine are in the fridge till they complete 40 days.
And not even one seed is germinating yet.
