Hello Everyone!

So, I was pruning our Jades earlier, and that made me wonder, can a Jade plant be a Bonsai?
I saw some "jade bonsai" pitcures around the internet, but as we know, it's stalks aren't "woody", but it sure look like it is...
So that made me question it...

to me, no. But opinions differ.

In the end, if you like a trimmed jade, why not. I have a jad which I maintain and keep in shape that lives in a shallow pot.

I think jades makes beautilful miniature trees. And it is one of the few that can really be kept indoors quite successfully. But the opinions differs and I have never seen any in shows. Bonsai or not, I like to grow them.
