Yes. Beauty of Amazon. Free returns if it doesn't work. But can also use it for other plants if it doesn’t work with my bougainvillea. 

no one really had a lot of experience so figured I would give it a shot. 

Now you have all the equipment to test it yourself. First hand experience is always better.

I am not sure any seller on amazon will accept a return if the tree dies in spring.
 

No sorry I bought the tree this spring from a bonsai store but bought the grow tent and light from Amazon.  But yes first hand experience. Fingers crossed. 

That was a funny missunderstanding. I never thought you would have buyed that tree from amazon. LOL

Quick update.  Bougainville is doing really well in the grow tent.  Have a humidifier and a fan and seems to really like it in there.

Here is a picture of it by my window for light purposes.  Has gone outside occasionally on warmer days in North Texas.
