I don´t use any of these miracle "ointments" for root growth.
For what I learned this year and tried myself, the best way to save the trees with nearly no roots is technique called "sweating"I have read about on Tony Ticke´s blog.
Even the guy who owns our local bonsai centre said that he would be happy to sell me some of these miracle things but they don´t work.
To me this post seemed like commercial too, sorry.
