Japanese Wisteria from seed was created by bonsaii91

Hello everyone Im new to bonsai and just want to make sure my understanding is correct as this is the only seed that germinated for me!

I plan on of course growing this Japanese Wisteria into a bonsai from seed (I know it will be a very long while until it flowers, sadly). I should wait atleast a year until i start pruning and training with wire? or should I wait longer?

also should I keep it in the small pot i have it in now that whole time or let it grow in a bigger pot and later trim back the roots?

I attached some pictures of where shes at right now, let me know what I should do. Thank you all!

You need it in a much bigger pot. You will not b wiring this species.

Geoff, I have got one myself, and I was thinking I should wire it weeping style, but...
You say "don't wire this species", is there a reason for not wiring it?
TIA

ok so grow it in a larger pot any recommendations on size? 3 gallon, 5 gallon etc? So I should do that for a few years before replanting in a bonsai pot? I have the same question as Clicio as well is there a reason I shouldn't wire this species?

I don´t get it why you would not be wiring this species too.
It works on my wisterias.
Here an example what you might get in 30 years if you plant it in the ground.
Notice the lowest left branch that is wired and getting into desired shape allright (wire will stay the whole next year too (it is wired very loosely) until the branch is thick enough)

edit: oh sorry pictured wire has been removed and replaced with thicker and longer one that is able to support the branch...no pic around me now...
