Ficus Ginseng - newborn leaves dropping, black ooze on stem? was created by Bobisz

Hi!

I have a ficus ginseng that completely dropped its leaves when I took it inside last autumn but I know it's a completely normal reaction to environment change so I wasn't that much worried (though it not growing any new leaves during the winter had my brows raised).
It's near a large window, no draft, no prominent temperature changes.
Now it's almost spring and the tree is full of new buds so I thought it was a good time to repot it (hasn't been repotted since purchase, circa 2 years) to revitalize it.
Put it in a really good draining bonsai mix and I'm not overwatering it, but I noticed that the new baby leaves that come out of the buds have their tips go brown and drop even before growing anything larger than a couple of millimeters.
I also noticed that the tree have several spots where it is covered in a strange shiny black ooz looking stuff/scar?

Is it some kind of infection? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

Not a good idea to re pot any tree in such stressed condition, and it is probably just bleeding
