I’ve had a juniper bonsai for 6 months and it doesn’t seem to be doing well. Please excuse me for the mistakes as I am new, but I did keep inside for a while until recently moving outside. I also may have over watered it? It has been turning brown. Can anyone advise if I can do anything to bring it back?

Junipers really (really...) can not be kept indoors. It looks like you might have to try again - but perhaps your tree might survive if you care for it well.
Perhaps read the Juniper care guide here on the website and if you have any other questions post them here!

It is turning brown because you had it inside not because it had too much water. Junipers love sun and water especially in the heat of summer. It does not look good, but it may just survive, prune some of the dead bits off and hope.

I think it is too late to save it. However, the only way to know for sure is to keep it until late August. If it has not pushed a lot of new growth by then it will not survive winter anyway.

Thank you. When it is outside, is there a max temperature I should be worried about and move to shade? It is supposed to get near 97 degrees this week so worry about it getting too hot. I typically water it in the morning before I leave for work then check it when I get home in the afternoon.

They love it, but it is still in a very poor condition, s needs a bit of shade in the afternoon. It is still less than 50/50 chance it will survive
