Hello all.
I’m looking for species recommendations for a south facing windowsill in a Victorian terrace house- Limited direct sunlight, double glazed. Narrow windowsill will only accept a 8cm width pot. Temp drops to about 12degrees in winter at night. I’m Uk based. Ideally evergreen species.
or should I find a new hobby?
Thanks anyone/everyone,
Simon.

Why would you not want to have hardy species outside? There are many species of trees that are hardy and make good bonsai, almost none that can be kept in a house.
Have a look for a book about bonsai to find the variety of trees that are available, and do not believe "indoor bonsai" they do not exist.
