Hello All
Been a while, hope you are all well.
I have a new Pistacia lentiscus that I purchased, have attached a photo.
Live in Scotland, keeping indoors,.window sill.in a relatively cool conservatory(13 to 19c)..not above a heat source
Seems to be little info, I have a Mars Hydro plant light I use in Winter and was wondeeing if anyone has any additional tips for.care of this species. (Should I mist, use humidity tray, minor pruning ok in winter?)
It is early days but looks healthy, watering when top of soil begins to dry and believe should avoid feeding mastic in winter.
The fukien seems to have developed slight yellowing in leaves, not sure why, otherwise looking healthy, still flowering.
Olive looks to be liking its pumice substrate.swapped out.earlier.in the year
Any advice or observarions much appreciated.
(Fukien Left, Olive Centre, Pistacio Right)
Many Thanks

If you manage to keep your fukien alive more than a year, just tell us. There are hundreds of posts about how to keep fukiens alive in europe and north america on this forum. Nobody has found the answer. Please let us know If you succeed.

Hi Tropfrog
You and a few others assisted me in when I got the Fukien, so thanks.
Was Christmas 2022 I got the.fukien, and still seems to be going strong.
There is a slight yellowing on the leaves that appeared recently, not sure if this is due to lack of humidity, a missed watering, or something else.
I can say for sure if you can't keep it outside it does seem to like a very good quality plant light but they can be tempremental and seem succeptable to pests..(I spent £100 on a light after trying some budget ones and this made a huge difference)
Thought was dead when underwatered when on holiday last year but actually seemed to come back stronger after that.
A Humidity tray seems essential as well.
Flowered strongly this year still some left just now.
Keeping fingers crossed.
Still very much a beginner.
