I received this bonsai as a gift for my birthday recently and I have no clue what kind it is. There was no information on the label and I am anxious to provide proper care for my new friend.

I would say a Ligustrum, though i'm not positive because of the poor quality of photo's....

Ok thank you. After poking around for a bit I agree. But does anyone know if these are able to get leaf miners? Some of its leaves are looking like they're being chewed and they have brown spots on them. If they are leaf miners, is there some way to help it??
