Hi, I bought a Bonsai tree from Homebase over the weekend but it didn't say what species it was so I'm not sure how to look after it. Does anyone know? (Sorry about the picture quality, I'll try and get some better ones.)

Welcome. Your plant is Chines Elm. Put it outside in a semi shady spot, and water when almost dry. Check every day and water as needed.
Where are you?
Take a look at bonsai4me.com for species guides it is and English site and very good,
Geoff.

it could be a zelkova as the leaves are a bit more ovaled than my chinese elm. i could be wrong.
but if the tree was kept indoors, than i think it is best to keep it indoors as it might have been before. but if it was originally outside, than keep it outside.

That's what Zelcova is. It is not an indoor plant, and must be kept outside.
