Hello Everyone,
A few months ago I bought this plant/tree from the grocery store that I work at. I thought it looked unique so I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend. Well I honestly don't know what it is. I think it's a kind of ficus but I can't find anything on the web to determine what it really is. Can anyone help?
Also I'm looking into turning it into a bonsai if possible. Thanks in advance for all your help!

I1t does not look like any Ficus I have seen. I would think that with leaves that size it would not make a convincing bonsai.

It's called a Zamia or cardboard palm.
