2019 Nippon Bonsai Taikan-ten tickets

I will be in Kyoto in November and want to buy a ticket to Taikan-ten. I found a link to the free shuttle servce. I cannot find an internet method to get a ticket in advance for opening day, November 23. Is anyone else going or have advice?

You can buy them there, at the gate.
" Just down the street from the Heian Shrine, the Taikan-ten is held in the Kyoto International Exhibition Hall, aka Miyako Messe, in the Okazaki area of eastern Kyoto. The admission price is ¥800 (currently about 7.23 USD or 6.37 Euro)."
