White worms

Hello everyone, for the past few days i´ve been getting these white worms on top of my bonsai soil daily. They´re all dead though (see picture).

I'm not very experienced yet, but I did have this problem myself once. I got white worms due to over watering.

How often do you water your tree?
Also it might be helpful to tell us what tree you have.
