I have a baby jade tree that I've been removing mealybugs with some rubbing alcohol and Qtips for the past week. I think I've removed most of them, but I'll still find one every other day or so. It has been losing some leaves and I'm not sure how much was due to the mealybugs, being next to a cold window or possibly not enough sunlight.
Any suggestions based on these pictures?
Thanks

If you are in the northern hemisphere. This looks like a serious problem with over watering. Just stop watering for a few months and keep remowing them.

Ok thanks. I will stop watering for the time being. You said to not water at all for months? Also, by remowing do you mean removing the dead leaves/branches?
Thanks

Yes, I said stop watering for months. This species comes from areas with very dry winters and are perfectly adapted to it. Too much water in winter and the roots rot. If you have very warm in your home you may need to water lightly a few times in winter. That is done when leafs are looking wrinkly. But better to keep it as cold as possible without any watering at all. I keep mine in overwintering room with frost protection that kicks in at 4c. No watering at all for 6 months. They love it and it is the only way to get them into flowers here.
I ment remove the pests, not the leafs, they will drop naturally. However, if branches starts to rot, gets soft and mushy, trim back to closest healthy tissue or it will spread.

You probably do not want to wire jade. It will dig into the trunk very fast.

Yes, it looks like P. Affra commonly wired, not C.Ovata which seems not responding to wire at all.
