What are these insects? was created by lukas952

Basically the title. I’ve had this Chinese elm for a couple months now and just noticed these little worm things (with legs) crawling around my soil. I haven’t noticed any on the tree itself but if I need to worry about an infestation, I’d like to get ahead of it. Any help/advice would be appreciated!

They are called millipedes. They are detrvours and not really a thret to your tree. Just remove tham manually. If it is a native species you can just rehome them into the garden. If they are not native, they need to be eliminated.
