Hey Guys and Gals
I thought that it would be cool to see what remedies other bonsai growers use.
I'm an Organic guy myself and tend to stay away from Chemicals due to a few F-ups I made while using them.
So yeah, please post your remedies......
Here is what I use for problems currently:
White Fly, spider mites and plant lice - Clove or Citronella Oil.
I got some oil from a buddy and he said it helped him. So I applied it and my white fly and mite problems were history. I spray twice a week for precaution and the smell of clove/citronella smells much better than chemicals.
Garlic based concoctions also help.

Ground cinnamon is a great antifungal for bonsai trees.
So is diluted peroxide...although it's not really organic. I used it a few years ago to save my pine.

Do you dilute it at all or do you just spray it on the tree as is? I personally haven't had any issues or tried any remedies yet, however, I am logging any good information I can gather in my journal.

YOu can just dust cinnamon on the tree, the peroxide you need to REALLY dilute. If not it'll kill the tree. I use a cap full of peroxide in an old clean windex bottle and spray it on a few times a day.
