40 something year old juniper was created by leatherback

Some 4 years ago a friend of mine dug ~100 junipers from a municipality. THey were cleaning out. THis is one of the trees collected then. Can't seem to find a before, when all the foliage was about a metre away from the roots on a tall trunk...

I like the way you use the wood sticks to bend some thick and short branches, very cool!
There is still a way to go, but it is in the right direction to my taste.

THx.. Did take a bit of time to figure out how to bend thicker older branches. But the "chuck a piecie of wood in the game" worked well.

I hope that by the end of 2020 growing season it will be much clearer where this is going. FOliage seems to be recovering now.
