A few weeks ago I had a workshop and made a larix planting. Some images say more than words?

Working on positioning of the trees

Not responding doesn't mean I don't like this, but just that I don't think I have something useful to add, but it's not nice not getting any response so there it goes:

Nice! Seems that's going to look awesome.

I was going to say which one is Leatherback! , it does look well done, and will be very good once settled in. Show us it later in the year once in leaf.

This is the result after the workshop, and how I took it home, to let it settle in:

I am sure in LB´s hands it is gonna look great in few years.
I am not a fan of these pots however and would use a flat slab instead as I think it would look more realistic.
But that is just a personal taste, so never mind

Ah ha, well never mind it is a good looking Larch group, if you get fed up with it chuck it my way.

in any case.. When I got home I decided I thought the forest was a little boring, so I spend some time adding a few youngsters to the composition. I trimmed a few of the poke-in-the-eye branches (Just like Mimo has just done) and the promised myself: now the trees need some rest and get settled in:

Thx. on the Dutch forum it took 5 days before 1 person responded. I think there are 2 responses there. I think I will stop posting there. Makes no sense to have a forum where people do not respond on posts

Well done LB You gave it a bit more depths as well which is nice.
I knew you´ll make it perfect in time.
As to slabs and the pot you used - it creates 2 different images and both are actually interesting.
My idea looks like a group of trees in a park or an island, your is creating an image of group of trees in a valley, enclosed by a slopes of the hills.
Also interesting is how different versions make it look like it is closer to the viewer or further away.
Now I am interested in how you´ll manage to style the trees (when the time for that comes by) so they don´t cover each other when the needles extend fully.
