Hello everyone .

Recently purchased picea abies 'acrocona' tree . I am looking for an advise with pruning and shaping my tree . Base of the tree has two main branches which is my concern . I would love to have a singe branch . Can I actually cut bottom branches and use them as seperate material ? How to prune long nidles and cones ?

Dont prune. Just take care of the tree a full growing season. Meanwhile study the tree. If healthy next early spring you can start prunning. By then you will have an idea yourself what to do with it.
