I have a fukien tea tree bonsai

Could you please let me know about pruning more tree?
 

No major pruning whatsoever until you have learned how to keep it healthy long term.

If a few branches rush away with 10-20 cm outside the canopy, they can be removed.

This is a species that is known to be very hard to grow indoors, good luck and please tell us if you make it.

why do you say that it’s a different tree to grow?

I say that it is a difcult tree to grow based on hundreds of "help my fukien is dieing" threads on this forum and from my own experience.

But actually this is an invasive species in some parts of the world. We have a member that is very succesful with the species on the forum. He lives in Hong Kong, that is a year round wet subtropic climate and grow the trees outdoors all year.

The best way to get into bonsai is to grow locally hardy species outdoors. Then the horticultural challenges is a very small issue and one can focus on what bonsai really is about, design.
