On many places the winter has just started. I do not know your climate. But if you repot a tree that is still in active growth and you get frost later that can be a serious problem.

I keep my trees protected in the greenhouse in winter here in southern Sweden. Repotting starts right after the first longer cold spell. Somewhere like mid january to late february and lasts until all trees have budded out around mid april. After repotting they are kept in frost protected overwintering room until risk of frost is over.

If one do not have the luxury of frost protected setup the repotting window is extreamly short here due to late frosts. Normally just 1-2 weeks. This spring I need to repot around 10 trees, basic styling of more than 50 trees lots of conifer thinning and full styling on two junipers. It would not be possible without the overwintering room.
