Te expanded garden clay pelets? I think someone already posted it is way to coarse. This guy just posted in another forum (in english). Is working with some really good guys in Poland too. bonsai-niwaki.blogspot.nl/

I thought coarse was good no? I've often seen people write about coarse sand and coarse grit etc.

As I wrote, 8 - 16 mm is too coarse. You're looking for particles of about 2 mm.
