Ive got this chinese elm a few weeks ago and today I noticed that it has space between the soil and the pot. After then I tried to move it and it could easily be removed from the pot. I planned to repot it in spring in a big training pot. I don't know if it is a problem now that it is moving in its pot or not.

The main problem is with water seeping between the pot and roots. That will make watering more dificult. But if it is outside, rain will probably be enoigh over winter anyway.
