That's a very elaborate system you got there! I have set up a timer and spray valves to water my bonsai...it took some work and adaptation to get the system to work the way I wanted but it's reliable and doesn't run out of water!

Somehow David's post gave me a brainwave you could do a bit of diy on that system,it can be fun challenging in a good way and will save money. It is your choice, but a suggestion just came to mind. Of course you can also use it for blood transplants :lol: .

Hi David,

Well, the thing is that it was the best choice I had at the time. You´ll see I couldn´t use the timer system you use because when I leave home for a long time I always close the water main. I do this, because once I let it open and it turned out that I also had left an open faucet and when I returned I had flooded the entire lower apartment and ruined my entire floor woodwork. Consequently, I had to replace my floor and spent quite a lot of money by doing so. End of story... I´ve learnt my lesson and developed a rather elaborate dripping system B)

Didn´t lose a tree but I did waste one nice looking floor... :( :pinch:

Lucky the electrics did not go though, my friend flat got flooded due to above.
