Here, people are trying to achieve scale on procumbens, which is rare. And most of the arguments are that you won't achieve a Procumbens with full scale like foliage. The book argues that when it happens, it is because the tree is stressed, so not necessarily a good thing for procumbens. I do however, have to go back and revise this chapter to make sure I am not making this up. Interesting conversation.

So, the conclusion would be it is a Juniperus chinensis with stress / juvenile form foliage, or a procumbens with stress / adult form foliage ?

This Juniper I bought over this past weekend is my second one I got in 3 weeks.

I don't know anything about Junipers and need to start learning more about them.

The Juniper is not a Procumbens. I just got conformation that it is aJuniperus virginiana var. virginiana. It is a slow growing Juniper and that is why it still so small.

My Baobab bonsai tree. We received winter rain for 2 days. This tree is a beautiful tree. Spring only starts in September, then only will I repot it in its new bonsai pot.

I've planted my 3 small Baobab trees in a 75liter(19.8 Gal US) pot today. The. One in the right is 10 years, left is 7 years and middel back is 5 years

I bought 2 Impala lily(Adenium obesum) small trees today to make bonsai trees of them. They are still young and still got a long way to go before they will be bonsai trees.

This wild fig is beautiful but the roots is growing like madness. If I am going to pot it in spring (September) I must do some planning to gut some roots.

Currently it is winter here and this bonsai tree is dormant. This tree got a stunning trunk for its small size. When spring starts in September this tree will be beautiful with flowers and new leaves.
