From left to right:
Kuromatsu in training, Kuromatsu mame, Akamatsu kengai
Japanese Black Pine (Pinus thunbergii) and Japanese Red Pine (Pinus densiflora)

No, I didn't defoliate. It's an old bougie and it blooms by the end of the winter with no green at all. Later in the season the green will come!

Chinese Elm Neagari - Ulmus Parvifolia

This one is going to change very soon. Based on the suggestion of various forum members, but mainly Mimo, this will be repotted in a round pot and will be turned into a cascade. As soon as I repot, I'll post the results here.
