I'm a smallholder and liv in a subartic climate, that prevents me from growing a lot of things outdoors year round. And as my house is very small, I can't exactly grow fullsize trees, so I got it into my head to learn about bonsai.

So, what trees/bushes are edible and sets fruit when grown as a bonsai? I have plantlights everywhere, so lighting is not an issue and I can offer the plant to spend the winter in either 15-20 celcius or 0-5 celcius. Apples, pears, cherries, plums etc can be grown here outdoors, i'm after more subtropical and tropical plants.

From the top of my head:
Citrus
Pomegranate

Any ideas?
